Animal Pound Section

Objective:

• To ensure public and road safety and also to prevent nuisance caused by stray animals in the jurisdiction area.

Functions:

• Impoundment of stray animals in town, conducting awareness campaigns to promote good husbandry, coordinating the sterilization of pets, and conducting public auctions of impounded animals.
