Engcobo Heroes Park listed many well-known South African leaders and liberation stalwarts who were either born or educated in Ngcobo. They are recognized and commemorated at Engcobo Heroes Park, which has a memorial wall engraved with the names of liberation icons, including Dr. AB. Xuma, and life-size statues of Tatu Walter Sisulu with their biographies.
